Privacy policy

By Marisol Keane, Editor, metabolic health · Effective October 20, 2026

LongevityGLP1 is a free reading site. You don't need an account to use it, and we never ask about your health. This policy explains, in plain terms, what information we handle when you visit longevityglp1.com, why we handle it and the choices you have.

What we learn when you visit

Like most websites, LongevityGLP1 receives some information automatically from your browser: the pages you view, the link or search you arrived from, your general location (worked out from your IP address, never precise), the type of device and browser you use, and how you move around the site. Our servers also keep routine technical records, such as requests and error reports, that help us keep the site working and secure.

We don't run accounts, sell anything or ask for payment details. The cost tools and filters on the site work in your browser, and what you enter in them isn't sent to us.

If you write to us, we receive your email address and whatever you include in the message. We use it to reply and, when you report a mistake, to fix it. Please leave medical records and personal health details out of your messages; we can't give personal medical advice and don't need them.

Cookies and browser storage

We use analytics cookies and similar browser storage to understand how the site is used, such as which pages people read and where they arrive from, and to remember the choices you make here, including your cookie choice. Our analytics service is Google Analytics, set up without advertising features. Our hosting provider may also use a short-lived check to tell people from bots.

Your browser settings let you block or delete cookies at any time. If you do, the site still works.

Switching analytics off

Analytics runs unless you turn it off. The Cookie settings link at the foot of every page lets you opt out, or change your mind later. When you opt out, analytics stops storing cookies in your browser. Your choice is saved only in the browser you made it in, so on another device, in a private window or after you clear this site's data, you'd need to set it again.

Global Privacy Control. Browsers and extensions that send the Global Privacy Control signal get the same result as opting out: analytics stays off unless you later turn it on in Cookie settings.

We don't respond to the older Do Not Track setting, which has no agreed meaning. Global Privacy Control is the signal we honor.

How we use what we learn

We use information to run the site and keep it secure, to see which pages are useful so we know what to update, to find and fix problems, to answer messages and to meet our legal duties. We don't use it to make decisions about you that have legal or similarly significant effects.

No selling, no ad sharing

Nobody buys reader information from us, and none of it is passed along for targeted or cross-context advertising. There are no ads on the site.

Companies that work for us

A handful of outside companies help us run LongevityGLP1: our web host, our analytics service and our email provider. They use information only to do the jobs we hire them for. We may also share information if the law requires it, or to protect someone's safety or to investigate fraud or abuse. If the site ever changes hands, the information would go with it and stay covered by this policy.

Visiting a provider

Some of our links take you to telehealth providers and other sites we don't control. Once you leave LongevityGLP1, that site's own privacy policy applies. Providers will often ask for health and payment details as part of care, so read their policy before you share them. We don't receive what you give a provider.

Keeping and protecting information

Information stays with us only while we reasonably need it for the purposes above, or for as long as the law requires, and then we delete it or let it expire. The site is served over encrypted connections, and access to our tools and mailboxes is limited to the people who need it. No system is perfectly secure, but we take reasonable steps to protect what we hold and we collect as little as we can.

Adults only

LongevityGLP1 covers prescription medicine and is meant for adults. It isn't directed to anyone under 18, and we don't knowingly collect personal information from them. If you think a minor has sent us information, tell us and we'll delete it.

Your state privacy rights

California and a growing list of other US states give people rights over their personal information, and LongevityGLP1 honors those rights for all US readers, whatever state you're in. Depending on the law that applies, you can ask us to:

  • tell you what personal information we have on you, and send you a copy;
  • correct information that's wrong;
  • delete information about you; and
  • opt out of any sale, sharing for advertising or profiling (we don't do these, but you can still ask).

How to ask. Email the privacy address listed on our contact page. Tell us what you want and which state you live in. We may need to confirm the request is yours, usually by replying to the address you wrote from. You can also have an authorized agent ask for you; we may check that you gave them permission. Requests are free, and we respond within the time the law allows. Using your rights never changes how the site works for you.

Appeals. If we decline a request, we'll tell you why. To appeal, reply to our answer and put "Appeal" in the subject line. We'll send our decision in writing. If you're still unhappy, you can contact your state's attorney general.

Outside the United States

LongevityGLP1 is made for readers in the US and operated from the United States, where our service providers also process information. If you visit from elsewhere, your information is handled under US law. If the law where you live gives you rights over your information, write to us and we'll honor the requests we can.

Updates to this policy

When our practices change, we'll update this policy and its effective date. If a change is significant, we'll point it out at the top of this page for a while. The current version applies each time you visit.

Reaching us

Questions or requests about privacy go to the privacy mailbox listed on our contact page. A person reads every message.
