Our take on Bionomy Health

Bionomy Health prices compounded semaglutide at $189 a month and compounded tirzepatide at $249, and there is no subscription behind either. You pay per refill, each refill still needs a practitioner's sign-off, and nothing renews on its own. A 3-month plan trims the monthly figure slightly, but the month-to-month price is the one to compare. The plan covers the practitioner's review, the medication and shipping; labs are separate unless your protocol adds them. The compounded semaglutide cost guide shows where that sits against other programs.

The payment order is the reason to look closely. The intake is free and needs no card. After it, you see a suggested protocol and approve the items you want, and Bionomy places only a hold on your card. The charge goes through when a licensed practitioner signs off, usually within 24 hours, and anything the practitioner doesn't approve is refunded automatically. Refunds after shipping are narrower: pharmacy or shipping errors, lost packages, and half of the latest fill if your practitioner recommends stopping within 30 days. Changing your mind after a shipment doesn't qualify.

Bionomy is also clearer than most about who's involved. Its founding physician, Dr. Pranav K. Sharma, is named with the four board certifications Bionomy lists for him, and protocols come from physicians on his network. Care is chat-based, with no video call required. The pharmacy page names both compounding pharmacies and says each holds a 503A license: Strive Pharmacy in Arizona and Absolute Pharmacy in Ohio, which Bionomy says fills a share of its GLP-1 orders. Bionomy ships to 48 states, every state but Alaska and Hawaii, and publishes the list.

Two things to read with care. The brand is built for men, and its marketing leans on member survey figures and stories that Bionomy itself labels self-reported or illustrative composites. Treat those as marketing, not evidence. Beyond GLP-1s it sells generic metformin at $69 a month; metformin for longevity is off-label, as the metformin for longevity guide explains. The compounded semaglutide lineup scores Bionomy against other programs.

What Bionomy Health costs

Bionomy Health prices by product · Billing: Monthly
ProductReal monthly cost
Compounded semaglutideInjection$189/mo
Compounded tirzepatideInjection$249/mo
MetforminTablet$69/mo

Prices are taken from Bionomy Health's own site and current as of this update. Real monthly cost folds in required fees and turns four-week billing into calendar months; that's our math.

Compounded semaglutide skips FDA approval: no one at the FDA judges whether it is safe, whether it works, or how well it was made before a pharmacy sends it out.

What signing up looks like

  1. Take the free intake

A two-minute online intake with no card required. You see a suggested protocol at the end.

  2. Approve, then a hold

You approve the items you want and Bionomy places a hold on your card, not a charge.

  3. A physician signs off

A licensed practitioner on the founding physician's network reviews it in chat, usually within 24 hours. Unapproved items are refunded.

  4. Ships from a 503A pharmacy

Strive or Absolute Pharmacy fills the order and it ships in about five business days in plain packaging. Refills are requested in chat.

Who prescribes, and the pharmacy

Protocols come from American board-certified physicians on the network of Bionomy's founding physician, Dr. Pranav K. Sharma, MD, through a private chat with no video call required. Bionomy's pharmacy page names Strive Pharmacy in Gilbert, Arizona, and Absolute Pharmacy in Streetsboro, Ohio, says both hold 503A compounding licenses, and says Absolute fills a portion of its GLP-1 and metabolic prescriptions.

Where Bionomy Health does well

  • No card to start: the intake is free, and your card is charged only after a practitioner approves.
  • No subscription or auto-renewal. You pay per refill, and each refill gets a practitioner's sign-off.
  • Names both compounding pharmacies, Strive in Arizona and Absolute in Ohio, and their 503A licenses.
  • Names its founding physician and lists the states it serves: 48, all but Alaska and Hawaii.
  • Anything the practitioner doesn't approve is refunded to your card automatically.

What to check first

  • Labs cost extra unless your protocol adds them. Ask for the lab price before you approve a plan.
  • After shipping, refunds are narrow; a stop your practitioner recommends returns half of the latest fill.
  • Member results on its pages are self-reported or composites. Don't treat them as trial results.
  • Doesn't serve Alaska or Hawaii. Check the states page before you start the intake.
  • The homepage quotes a lower testosterone starting price than its product pages. Go by the product page.

It fits you if

You want compounded semaglutide or tirzepatide without a subscription, would rather be charged only after a physician approves, and like knowing which pharmacy fills it.

Look elsewhere if

You want labs built into the price, a live video visit, or you live in Alaska or Hawaii.
