Our take on bmiMD
bmiMD keeps its GLP-1 pricing simple. Compounded semaglutide is $159 a month on the one-month plan and tirzepatide is $249, and bmiMD says the price is the same at every dose. One plan price covers the provider visit, the medication and platform fees, so there's no membership on top. Three-, six- and 12-month plans cut the monthly figure further, but they're prepaid and can't be refunded once the first shipment goes to the pharmacy. Each price is shown next to a higher crossed-out "regular" price; ignore that and compare the real figure. The compounded semaglutide guide covers the drug itself.
The cancellation rules are the part to read slowly. Your card is only put on hold at checkout, and you're charged in full once a provider approves you. If you cancel after submitting the intake but before review starts, bmiMD keeps a flat cancellation fee to cover processing. Once a provider has started reviewing, the first order can't be canceled at all. For later months, bmiMD places a hold about five days before each renewal, and you need to cancel at least 48 hours before that hold to skip the charge.
bmiMD also prescribes generic metformin ER at $55 a month, or less on a three-month plan. It markets metformin for weight and longevity, but using it to slow aging is off-label; the drug is approved for type 2 diabetes. Unlike the GLP-1 plans, which bmiMD offers in all 50 states, the metformin page says 49 states without naming the one left out. The metformin for longevity guide explains what the evidence shows.
Behind the storefront, care comes from independent state-licensed providers in a medical group that bmiMD doesn't name, and the pharmacy isn't named either; your patient documents identify both after you start. Its terms do let you send the prescription to any licensed pharmacy you choose, if you'd rather pay that pharmacy yourself. To compare it with other programs, see the compounded semaglutide lineup.

Prices are taken from bmiMD's own site and current as of this update. Real monthly cost folds in required fees and turns four-week billing into calendar months; that's our math.
Compounded semaglutide skips FDA approval: no one at the FDA judges whether it is safe, whether it works, or how well it was made before a pharmacy sends it out.

What signing up looks like
Choose a plan and check out
Pick the drug and plan length. Your card gets an authorization hold, not a charge, until a provider approves.
Complete the medical intake
Fill in the questionnaire for a telehealth review by a provider licensed in your state.
The prescription is filled
If approved, the prescription goes to a licensed U.S. pharmacy, or one you choose, and ships with supplies.
Refills renew on schedule
A hold is placed about five days before each renewal. Message your provider through the patient portal.
Who prescribes, and the pharmacy
Prescriptions come from independent, state-licensed providers practicing through a medical group that bmiMD doesn't name; the visit is a telehealth review after your intake. Its terms say prescriptions go to a licensed U.S. pharmacy, or any licensed pharmacy you pick, and that your patient documents identify the provider and pharmacy. None of its terms, privacy or product pages names the pharmacy.
Where bmiMD does well
- One price at every GLP-1 dose, with the provider visit and platform fees folded in.
- Every product page prints the full ladder of 1-, 3-, 6- and 12-month prices.

- Generic metformin ER is offered month to month alongside the GLP-1 plans.
- Its terms let you send the prescription to a licensed pharmacy of your choice.
What to check first
- Canceling after the intake but before review costs a flat fee. Decide before you submit the intake.
- Once review starts, the first order can't be canceled. Ask questions before you hand it in.
- Prepaid 3-, 6- and 12-month plans are non-refundable once shipped. Start month to month if unsure.
- Neither the medical group nor the pharmacy is named. Ask support before you order if it matters.
- Metformin is offered in 49 states, not 50. Confirm your state on the metformin page first.

Semaglutide copies GLP-1, a hormone your gut releases after eating. It raises insulin only when blood sugar is high, lowers glucagon, slows stomach emptying and reduces appetite through the brain. That is why it lowers blood sugar and body weight. It is sold as Ozempic and Rybelsus for diabetes and as Wegovy for weight.
