Heally review

The short answer: Heally charges $99 a month for its rapamycin subscription, provider visit included, and $50 a month for metformin. Both are off-label for aging, so your physician decides.

Our take on Heally

Heally sells a rapamycin subscription at $99 a month that includes the provider visit and, if you're prescribed, the medication shipped home. Metformin starts at $50 a month. Neither drug is FDA-approved for aging. Rapamycin is approved to help prevent kidney transplant rejection and metformin for type 2 diabetes, so any longevity use is off-label, and Heally says so plainly on both pages. Rapamycin's label also carries a boxed warning for immune suppression. That's why the visit matters more here than the price. The rapamycin guide and the metformin guide cover what each drug does and what the evidence shows.

The first consultation is free. You answer a short questionnaire, then meet a board-certified physician from HLY Medical Group, the practice Heally names, in a 15-minute telehealth visit. Heally places a card hold before the appointment and charges only if you're approved. For rapamycin, your provider may order baseline and follow-up blood work, such as a blood count, lipids and glucose. Heally doesn't say whether those labs are inside the subscription, so ask before you book them.

Heally isn't a compounded GLP-1 shop anymore. Its weight-loss pages offer brand drugs: Wegovy as a pill or injection, Zepbound, Ozempic and Mounjaro, each with a starter-dose price and a note that higher doses may cost more. The pages don't say whether those figures are Heally's all-in price or the maker's self-pay price passed through, so confirm what you'll pay at your free consultation. Zepbound, Heally says, ships from Eli Lilly's own pharmacy program.

Most programs bill only when you reorder, with no membership. Subscriptions such as rapamycin cancel any time from your account or by email, effective at the end of the billing period, with no refund for a partial month. Heally serves all 50 states. To compare it with other programs, the metformin and rapamycin lineup sorts every one by Healthspan Score, and metformin for longevity walks through the research.

What signing up looks like

  1. Answer a short questionnaire

Fill in a brief health history online and book a free consultation. Heally places a card hold before the appointment.

  2. A 15-minute physician visit

A board-certified physician from HLY Medical Group meets you by telehealth and decides whether the drug suits you. You're charged only if approved.

  3. Prescription to a partner pharmacy

If prescribed, the prescription goes to a partner pharmacy, and the medication ships to your home.

  4. Follow-ups and reorders online

Follow-ups, any labs your provider orders and refills run online. Most programs bill only when you reorder.

Who prescribes, and the pharmacy

Board-certified physicians of HLY Medical Group, the practice Heally names in its footer, prescribe after a 15-minute telehealth visit. Heally says it doesn't dispense medication itself: prescriptions go to partner pharmacies, compounded items to state-licensed compounding pharmacies, and Zepbound through Eli Lilly's direct program. It doesn't name the pharmacy that fills metformin or rapamycin.

Where Heally does well

  • The rapamycin subscription folds the provider visit and the medication into one monthly price.
  • The first physician consultation is free, and your card is charged only if you're approved.
  • Names its medical group, HLY Medical Group, and says its physicians are board-certified.
  • States the FDA status and boxed warning of rapamycin and metformin on the drug pages.
  • Serves all 50 states, with no membership and billing only when you reorder on most programs.

What to check first

  • Rapamycin labs may be ordered but aren't priced. Ask whether they're inside the subscription first.
  • Brand GLP-1 prices are starter-dose floors. Ask what your dose will cost at the free consultation.
  • No refund for a partial month on subscriptions. Cancel before the next billing period starts.
  • Heally doesn't name the pharmacy that fills metformin or rapamycin. Ask where yours will ship from.

It fits you if

You want to talk through off-label rapamycin or metformin with a physician in a live visit, with the medication and visit bundled at a printed monthly price.

Look elsewhere if

You want labs priced up front, a named pharmacy, or a compounded GLP-1, which Heally no longer offers.
