Our take on MangoRx
MangoRx sells one weight-loss product, Slim, a mint dissolving tablet of compounded semaglutide with vitamin B6 that you take once a day. The product page prices it at $299 a month, billed monthly, with the provider consultation, ongoing support and shipping included and no membership. That's a clear headline, but two other pages muddy it. The weight-loss category page prints a much lower 'starting at' figure for the same 30-day pack, with no conditions attached, and the FAQ says Subscribe and Save auto-refills process every 25 days.
That last line is the one to settle. Billed every 25 days, you'd pay about 14 or 15 times a year instead of 12, two or three extra charges a year by our math. The product page's 'billed monthly' is what you see when you buy, but ask support how often your card will be charged before you start. If you see the lower category-page figure, ask what it applies to.
MangoRx is unusually specific about who fills the prescription. Its terms name Epiq Scripts as the pharmacy, and its FAQ describes a Texas-based compounding pharmacy with URAC and ACHC-PCAB accreditation and LegitScript certification. Providers come from medical groups MangoRx doesn't name. Depending on your state, the review is either online or a live Google Meet appointment within one to five business days, and photo ID is required. MangoRx ships to 46 states plus DC; it doesn't ship to Alabama, Alaska, Arkansas or Mississippi.
A dissolving tablet suits people who'd rather not inject, but it isn't a brand semaglutide pill, and the FDA hasn't reviewed this compounded version. Read the oral semaglutide guide for how the tablets on the market differ, and the compounded semaglutide safety guide for what compounding means. MangoRx is a men's health brand first, with testosterone, hair and sexual-health treatments, though Slim itself isn't marketed to one sex.
Once an order ships, all sales are final. If a provider declines you, MangoRx says the order is canceled and the charge refunded to your card, and you can cancel a subscription from your account at any time. Compare it with other needle-free options on the GLP-1 pill lineup, or with weekly injections on the compounded semaglutide lineup.
What MangoRx costs
| Billing | Real monthly cost | |
|---|---|---|
| Monthly | $299/mo | $299/mo |
Prices are taken from MangoRx's own site and current as of this update. Real monthly cost folds in required fees and turns four-week billing into calendar months; that's our math.
Compounded semaglutide skips FDA approval: no one at the FDA judges whether it is safe, whether it works, or how well it was made before a pharmacy sends it out.

Where MangoRx does well
- One clear product-page price that includes the provider visit, ongoing support and free shipping, with no membership.
- Names Epiq Scripts as its pharmacy and describes it as an accredited Texas compounding pharmacy.
- Publishes the full list of states it ships to: 46 states plus DC.
- A daily dissolving tablet for people who don't want weekly injections.
- Refunds the charge in full if a provider declines your treatment.
What to check first
- The FAQ says auto-refills process every 25 days, not monthly. Ask how often you'll be charged before you subscribe.
- The weight-loss page shows a much lower 'starting at' figure than the product page. Ask what it covers before relying on it.
- All sales are final once an order ships. Cancel from your account before the next refill processes if you want to stop.
- It doesn't ship to Alabama, Alaska, Arkansas or Mississippi. Check the state list before you start the questionnaire.
- The medical groups behind its providers aren't named. Ask who your prescriber is and where they're licensed.
It fits you if
You want a needle-free compounded semaglutide tablet at one listed monthly price, from a seller that names its pharmacy and publishes its state list.
Look elsewhere if
You want an injectable GLP-1, tirzepatide, a brand semaglutide pill, or a program whose billing cadence is stated the same way on every page.

Foundayo is orforglipron, a once-daily GLP-1 pill from Eli Lilly that FDA approved on April 1, 2026 for weight management in adults. It's a different molecule from semaglutide and tirzepatide. The label says to take it with or without food. In its main trial, the top dose produced 11.2% average weight loss at 72 weeks.
- Side by sideIs Foundayo as effective as Zepbound? What the trials show
Both come from Eli Lilly, but they're different molecules in different forms. Zepbound produced about twice the average weight loss in its trial. Foundayo costs less, is a pill with no food rules, and may help hold on to weight lost on an injection.
- Drug guideOral semaglutide: the three approved pills and how they differ
Oral semaglutide is the active ingredient of Ozempic and Wegovy in a daily tablet. The FDA approved the Wegovy pill for weight reduction on December 22, 2025; Rybelsus and Ozempic tablets treat type 2 diabetes.
