Our take on SkinnyRx
SkinnyRx leads with a low first month, so look past it. Compounded tirzepatide injections cost $99 for month one, and the monthly plan then renews at $299 a month. The plan picker also shows four-, six- and 12-month plans with lower monthly figures, but each of those commits you for longer, so compare them as prepaid terms rather than as the price of a single month. The banner calls the first-month offer a sale "while supplies last," which is one more reason to plan around the ongoing figure. The compounded tirzepatide cost guide shows how that ongoing price compares.
Semaglutide is where the pricing goes quiet. The injection page prints a first-month price of $99 and nothing after it, and the daily semaglutide tablet shows only a $149 first month. Ask for the month-two price in writing before you choose either one. SkinnyRx also sells compounded tirzepatide as a daily tablet, $199 for the first month and then $299 a month. Tablets are a compounded form, not an approved pill; the GLP-1 pill lineup sorts the options you swallow. SkinnyRx says microdosing is available on its plans too.
The FDA wrote to SkinnyRx in 2026. The letter objected to product photos with SkinnyRx on the vial labels, which suggested the company makes the drugs itself, and to claims such as having the same active ingredient as approved medicines. The letter is linked on this page. SkinnyRx's own pages now carry the standard line that compounded drugs aren't FDA-approved or reviewed for safety, effectiveness or quality, and its intake shows a state-licensed 503A compounding pharmacy badge. The terms say independent third-party pharmacies dispense every order and that yours is disclosed at checkout, but no pharmacy is named on the public pages.
Care runs through what the terms call Affiliated Medical Practices, separate companies that SkinnyRx doesn't name. You complete a medical intake first, and you're charged only after it; if a clinician decides you don't qualify, SkinnyRx says the refund arrives within 24 to 48 hours. Depending on your state, you may get a short video visit or a prescription straight from the written intake. Each refill comes after a check-in form, and the company says month one ends with a provider review and a possible dose change.
The cancellation rules need care. Renewals can be charged up to five days before the next period starts, and you must cancel at least five days before renewal to stop it. Partly used periods and bundled plans aren't refunded, and any approved refund waits until unopened medication goes back to the pharmacy. The 90-day money-back guarantee is narrow: it applies only if your weight hasn't dropped at all, and only if you logged your weight and every dose in the app each week. Compounded medicines aren't offered in Alabama, Louisiana or Mississippi. See the compounded tirzepatide lineup for programs priced the same way at every dose.
What SkinnyRx costs

| Compounded tirzepatideInjection | $299/mo | $299/mo |
| Compounded tirzepatideTablet | $299/mo | $299/mo |
Prices are taken from SkinnyRx's own site and current as of this update. Real monthly cost folds in required fees and turns four-week billing into calendar months; that's our math.
Other available treatments with a monthly total to confirm: Compounded semaglutide (injection), Compounded semaglutide (tablet).
Compounded tirzepatide skips FDA approval: no one at the FDA judges whether it is safe, whether it works, or how well it was made before a pharmacy sends it out.

What signing up looks like
Complete the medical intake
Answer the online health questions and choose a plan. You're charged after the intake, and refunded within 24 to 48 hours if you don't qualify.
A licensed clinician reviews it
A clinician from an affiliated medical practice reviews your intake. Some states need a short video visit first; elsewhere the prescription can come within a day.
A 503A pharmacy fills it
An independent state-licensed 503A compounding pharmacy prepares your order. The terms say the pharmacy is disclosed at checkout.
Overnight delivery and refills
Orders ship within two business days with free overnight delivery. Each refill follows a check-in form with your provider.
Who prescribes, and the pharmacy
Independent US-licensed providers from what SkinnyRx calls its Affiliated Medical Practices prescribe, mostly from the written intake, with a video visit where state rules require one; the practices aren't named. Independent 503A compounding pharmacies fill orders, and the terms say yours is shown at checkout.
Where SkinnyRx does well
- Tirzepatide's monthly price and every longer plan are printed on its shop page before any questions.
- Both GLP-1s come as weekly injections or daily tablets, and microdosing is offered.
- You're charged only after the intake, with a full refund within 24 to 48 hours if you don't qualify.
- Free overnight shipping on every order, and HSA or FSA cards are accepted.
- Its intake shows a state-licensed 503A compounding pharmacy, and the company says its pharmacies are potency-tested.
What to check first
- The first-month price is a promotion. Plan your budget around the price from month two on.
- Semaglutide's price after month one isn't printed. Get the ongoing price in writing before you pay.
- Renewals can bill up to five days early. Cancel at least five days before renewal to avoid the next charge.
- The 90-day guarantee pays only if you lost no weight and logged every dose. Read its conditions first.
- The FDA wrote to SkinnyRx in 2026 about its drug labels and claims. Read the letter linked on this page.
It fits you if
You want compounded tirzepatide with the monthly price printed up front, the choice of an injection or a daily tablet, and fast overnight delivery.
Look elsewhere if
You want semaglutide with a published ongoing price, one price at every dose, or a program that names its pharmacy and medical group. It also isn't an option for compounded medicine in Alabama, Louisiana or Mississippi.

- Drug guideTirzepatide: the dual-hormone drug behind Mounjaro and Zepbound
Tirzepatide is a weekly injection that acts on two hormone receptors, GIP and GLP-1, to lower blood sugar and appetite. Eli Lilly sells it as Mounjaro for type 2 diabetes and as Zepbound for weight management and obstructive sleep apnea.
