Our take on RxSpan MD
RxSpan MD prices compounded semaglutide injections at $249 a month and compounded tirzepatide injections at $329 on its monthly plan. The price covers the consult, medication, supplies, shipping and support, with no membership on top. Three-, six- and 12-month plans cost less per month, and the plan picker shows each one before you sign up. The 12-month figure is the one to read carefully. It's one up-front payment, it includes a promo code, and it renews automatically. If you're new to a GLP-1, the monthly plan keeps you from paying for a year you may not finish. Both molecules also come as daily capsules: semaglutide at $249 and tirzepatide at $349 a month. RxSpan MD's own pages note there's no FDA-approved oral tirzepatide. The semaglutide injection contains vitamin B12, per its comparison table. RxSpan MD doesn't say whether the monthly price changes as your dose goes up, so ask before you start.
A licensed clinician reviews your assessment after checkout, and RxSpan MD says a prescription isn't guaranteed. Its FAQ names the medical team, Lion MD, led by two physicians, and the company was founded by a board-certified plastic surgeon. The same FAQ lists four partner pharmacies by name, and RxSpan MD says it is LegitScript-certified. It also says it serves all 50 states, with some services varying by state.
Brand drugs are on the menu at cash prices: Zepbound at $1,069, Ozempic at $1,299 and Wegovy at $1,349 a month. RxSpan MD states that weight management isn't an FDA-approved use of Ozempic. Its FAQ lists four partner pharmacies with phone numbers (Belmar Pharmacy, Strive Pharmacy, Epiq Scripts and Casa Pharma Rx), and its weight-loss page says compounded drugs are prepared by a state-licensed pharmacy. It doesn't say which pharmacy fills which product.
