How this lineup is built
Every row here comes from the full compounded semaglutide lineup, with the same score and the same place relative to the others. What got a program onto this page is one fact from its own pages: it also writes prescriptions for menopause hormone therapy. That means estradiol, progesterone, or both.
Nothing else about the list changes. The Healthspan Score still grades the semaglutide plan alone, so OurView Health sits first at 82 because of its GLP-1 care and pricing, not because of its hormone offer. A program that treats hot flashes well but hides its pharmacy still loses points for the pharmacy.
What “also treats menopause” gets you
The practical gain is one clinician seeing both prescriptions. Semaglutide slows how fast your stomach empties, and the Wegovy label warns it may change how well other pills you swallow are absorbed. A prescriber who also writes your estradiol tablet knows to watch for that.
Of the 19 programs here, 18 list estradiol and 18 list progesterone. Forms vary a lot: tablets, capsules, skin patches and compounded creams all turn up. Pick the form you'd want first, then compare scores among the programs that offer it.
Progesterone usually matters only if you still have a uterus. FDA-approved estrogen labels pair estrogen with a progestogen for that reason. If a program offers estradiol but no progesterone, ask how it would protect the uterine lining for you.
Two caveats keep this list honest. A hormone row means the program prescribes it, not that it accepts every patient. And the hormone visit may be a separate consult with its own fee, even inside one company.
What the score does and doesn't measure on this list
- Price (35). Only the semaglutide plate counts. A cheap estradiol add-on can't raise a program's price points, and a costly one can't lower them.
- Care (25). The five care checks describe the GLP-1 plan. Read the review to learn whether the same clinician manages the hormone side, or whether it's a separate service.
- Pharmacy (25). The named pharmacy is the one that fills the semaglutide. A compounded hormone cream may come from a different pharmacy, so ask about both labels.
- Clarity (15). Visible price, cancellation terms and a state list, scored for the GLP-1 plan. How we score lists every sub-check.
Adding a menopause prescription to a semaglutide bill
Start with the plate. Semaglutide on this list starts at $109 to $297 a month, fees folded in, with $222 as the middle figure.
Then add the hormone line. 9 of the 19 programs print a monthly price for estradiol or progesterone, and those prices run $49 to $229. The middle of each program's lowest hormone price is $139. The other 10 list hormone care without a published price, so you'd learn it at the consult.
Put the two together and the combined month, for programs that print both, comes to roughly $158 to $468 by our math. That's the starting semaglutide plate plus the least expensive hormone item each program lists.
Expect the real figure to move. Semaglutide plans often price each dose step separately, and estradiol plus progesterone are two prescriptions, not one. A program may also bundle hormones into a membership, which our sum can't see.
Generic estradiol and progesterone filled at your own pharmacy can cost less than a compounded cream. 14 of these programs list at least one compounded hormone product, so ask whether a standard prescription is an option.
How to read this lineup
- Cards keep their order from the full semaglutide lineup, with gaps where programs without menopause care dropped out.
- The plate shows the semaglutide price only. Hormone prices sit on each program's review, next to the form.
- Some programs carry a Partner tag: they may pay us if you sign up through our link. The tag never changes a score, and the labeled Partner box above the list stands apart from the order.
- A card reading “No monthly price to compare” (5 on this page) belongs to a program with no single starting price for semaglutide, and it scores zero on price.
Questions for a program that treats both
- Is the hormone consult included, or billed as a separate visit?
- Will the same clinician manage my semaglutide and my estradiol?
- Is the estradiol you'd prescribe an FDA-approved product or a compounded one?
- Which pharmacy fills each prescription, and can I use my own for the hormones?
- If I still have a uterus, how will progesterone be handled?
- What labs do you want before prescribing hormones, and who pays for them?
Questions about this lineup
- Does semaglutide help with menopause symptoms?
- It isn't approved for them. Semaglutide's FDA uses are weight management, diabetes and certain heart, kidney and liver conditions. Hot flashes and night sweats are what estradiol is approved to treat, which is why this list pairs the two.
- Can I take semaglutide and estradiol together?
- That's a decision for the prescriber who knows your history. The Wegovy label notes it can affect how other oral medicines are absorbed, so tell every prescriber about both, and ask whether a patch or gel suits you better than a tablet.
- How much more does hormone therapy add per month?
- Among programs here that publish it, the hormone line runs $49 to $229 a month. Added to the starting semaglutide plate, the combined month lands near $158 to $468, before any dose increase.
- Why isn't every women's-health program on this list?
- The rule is narrow on purpose: the program must prescribe compounded semaglutide and list estradiol or progesterone on its own pages. A program that only mentions menopause in passing doesn't qualify.
The Healthspan Score
Every provider gets a 0 to 100 Healthspan Score for each drug it prescribes, built from four checks: what a new patient pays per month at the starting dose (35), how care works (25), whether the pharmacy is named (25) and how clearly prices and terms are shown (15).
